Ursuline High School is busy preparing for the Christmas holiday. The Student Ambassadors welcomed our elementary school friends on Saturday, December 2 for Christmas at the U and The Christmas Painting Party. Photos from both events may be found here. The Ursuline Concert Band and Choir will perform sounds of the season on Tuesday, December 19 at 7pm in the Deibel Morley Arts Center. A reception will follow in the Library and Learning Center. The school community will gather for the Late Advent Prayer Service, “Lessons and Carols”, on Wednesday, December 20 at 10am in the gym. Guests are encouraged to attend for both events.
In addition to the listed activities, students will be participating in a myriad of service activities to prepare for Christmas. The following is a sampling of the activities Ursuline is currently involved with for Christmas: Salvation Army Bell Ringing and Toy Store Clerking, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Christmas Tea, Breakfast with Santa volunteers at Saint Rose and The Lake Club, decorating for Christmas at the Casa Madre House, purchasing gifts for Catholic Charities and Someplace Safe and more. All students will also spend time in quiet reflection through the Sacrament of Reconciliation with several local priests.
