Ursuline High School is proud to recognize 3 students for earning awards at the 2021 Scholastic Art Show. Junior Lorenzo Sprockett received a Gold Key Award for his drawing entitled “Self Portrait.” Juniors Mercedes Dykes and Van Hoang received Silver Keys for their works “Tranquility” and “Friendship.” The Scholastic Art Show is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious scholarship and recognition program for young artists and writers in grades 7–12. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards serve as a launch pad for furthering students’ future success by providing them with access to scholarship programs and workshops, as well as the ability to have their work published and displayed in regional and national exhibition. Thank you to Art Teachers, Mrs. Alana Campbell and Miss Miranda Timmins, for overseeing the program at Ursuline High School. Ursuline has a long standing tradition of award winners at the Scholastic Art Show.
